In this month's class you will learn to make this beautiful 3-yd quilt called Radiant from Fabric Cafe. Your 3, 1-yard cuts of fabric are included in your class fee. This class is great for beginners as well as more advanced quilters.

We are proud to have Betty McCullough teaching the Tucker University curriculum here at Scrappy Rooster Quilts. She will be teaching a series of technique courses based on Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design tools and techniques in each of the monthly classes. Your monthly class fee will include the Studio 180 Design ruler that is being taught that month. For the month of October, she will be teaching you the Tucker Trimmer I Ruler. The Tucker Trimmer tool was designed to help quilter’s quickly and easily trim down units that are made with triangles: half square triangle squares, quarter square triangle squares (hourglass units), and combinations of half square and quarter square triangle squares (combination units). It has multiple diagonals which allow you to align ruler guide lines with unit seam lines to quickly locate the exact center of pieced units. This makes trim down easy, precise, and perfect every time. No more figuring, or guessing, or struggling to find a center point. We use it for much more than just trimming however and consider it my “must have” tool every time I head to my cutting table. Ruler size: 7” x 7” Eleven unit size options from 1” finished to 6” finished in half inch increments (trim sizes 1½” to 6½”) Step by step illustrated instructions for making half square triangle, hourglass, and combination units.
