Welcome to Scrappy Rooster Quilts. I fell head over heels in love with quilting years ago, when as a child, my neighbor taught her granddaughter and me how to piece squares together. Teenage years got in the way and quilting faded to the background. Years later I was inspired to begin sewing by my grandma, Maggie Flynn. She made my brothers and me twin size quilts. I began making long-eared rabbits, and it wasn't long before I began piecing and quilting on my Viking sewing machine. Nearly 20 years later, I am deep into the craft and love of quilting. I began quilting on my home machine, my workhorse, then began long arm quilting in the fall of 2013. It is my desire to promote the love of all aspects of quilting and that my quilting dreams continue to grow. I would be honored to quilt for you. UPDATE: We are proud to announce that we have upgraded our Gammill with a Statler Stitcher! This upgrade allows us to be more creative with our quilting services. We are currently in training mode, quilting away on our tops that have been waiting for some time. Pictures of new quilts and patterns coming soon!
